They always get their man. These GLO people. The latest in line now is none other than the Port Harcourt singer whose meteoric rise is a tale of legend, Burna Boy.
With an all-out campaign to revamp their brand and make the most of their marketing potential, Nigerian telecommunication giant, Globacom has unleashed a series of new campaigns. Putting their name on the debut X Factor reality show, as major sponsor, squeezing a brand hit song out of Lagbaja and P-Square (Unlimited), unveiling a new clutch of glittering ambassadors.
Now they gotten more, by signing Afro Fusion/Dance-Hall artist, Burna Boy, who burnt no time in uploading the above photo with his mum/booking agent onto his Instagram page with the revealer - “New glo deal sweeter Dan a bxxxh!!!!!”
And then Twitter went crazy!
Burna Boy instantly became news of the day on Twitter-sphere, with myriads of fans, colleagues and observers weighing in with plenty of love. Which the singer acknowledge by hitting us with this; “Both glo and me are trending already. Lol. This must mean they found d right ambassador. Lol”
His debut album is on course to be released this month, an album merchandising deal is in the bag with with rising fashion entrepreneurs, Coca Goodsand now the GLO endorsement contract signing. The world is sure to be all rosebeds and cupcakes for burning Burna Boy.
